Architectural Sunshades

The Tarrant Community College project used nearly every division of Doralco. The Vertical Airfoil Screenwall needed to be merged to the facade of the building and turn a corner. The critical angles required the use of Doralco's in house engineering team, which developed the solution of a truss system to come out the 8' - 10' from the wall for the shade attachment to keep the continous look of the Architectural Sunshades.

This sunshade system was very detailed and machine oriented, Doralco was able to create everything in house through their machining division and its waterjet, CNC and custom 3D milling capabilities.
