Exterior Sun Control

The University of Kentucky - College of Pharmacy project won the Best of 2010 award in Midwest Construction Magazine. The structure is adorned by Doralco's custom Perforated Vertical and Horizontal Airfoil Sunshades. These Exterior Sun Control devices were utilized on single and multiple window applications. The customer had done a study on the positioning of the building with respect to the sun and determined that a vertical perforated sunshade combined with the horizontal airfoil sunshades would provide maximum efficiency for the building. By providing both types of sunshades from a single manufacturer, the customer maintained consistency in engineering, design, fabrication, and delivery of the project.
