Architectural Grilles

The Williams Mullin project in downtown Richmond, Virginia features Doralco's Architectural Grilles on all four sides of its lower level parking garage. These architectural grilles were designed to keep headlights from shining into adjacent buildings trough the use of tilted blades. Shipped pre assembled, these grilles had only to be unitized and hung by the glazing contractor.

Doralco's customer was a glazing contractor on this project, however, the were not awarded the curtainwall portion of the structure. By adding Doralco's architectural metals to their list of prodocts and installation services, they were able to land this project, make a good profit and gain experience with the General Contractor for the next project.
